Pada irregular verb, bentuk past participle berubah-ubah, polanya tidak dapat ditentukan secara pasti, bentuknya mengikuti yang telah ditentukan.

2. Past participle sebagai adjective

Past participle juga dapat digunakan sebagai adjective (kata sifat) dan reduced adjective clause dalam bentuk kalimat pasif.
